The Team Meeting dates for the 2024 Fall, Emmaus Retreats are set.

  • The First Team Meeting will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024

  • The Second Team Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024

    Location: San Ramon Valley, United Methodist Church in Alamo, CA

    Time: 9:00am -3:00pm

The Dates/Location for the 2024 Fall, Emmaus Retreats are official.

  • Women’s Retreat: October 10 - 13, 2024

  • Men’s Retreat: October 17 - 20, 2024

The Post-Walk, Community Gathering for the 2024 Fall, Emmaus Retreats is scheduled.

  • Gathering: November 2, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm

Sponsor Someone for the 2024 Fall, Emmaus Retreat
This process begins with prayer and to do it right takes about two months of discussions and preparation. The due date to submit an application will be announced.

Work the 2024 Fall, Emmaus Retreat
This process begins with your application to the Team Selection Committee asking them to consider you on a work team for Men or Women.

Past Events

The community gathering and pot luck was held on May 4th, 2024

We were blessed with 9 pilgrims from the October Emmaus Retreats attending and sharing some of their experiences and desires to give back to the community by working the upcoming retreats. The event was very well attended and the food was delicious.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 Spring, Emmaus Retreats!

The most recent Men’s and Women’s Emmaus Retreats were held in April and had 11 participants and over 80 workers. The retreats were held at Los Altos United Methodist Church in Los Altos, CA.

The 3d “Roles & Responsibilities” Training was greatly appreciated by all participants.

A heartfelt thank you to Mike Kernaghan, our Grace Board Treasurer, for preparing and providing this invaluable training.
